Wan Phing Lim was born to Malaysian parents in 1986 in Butterworth, Penang. Her writing career began in Singapore, where her short stories and poetry have been published by Ethos Books, Monsoon Books, Math Paper Press, the British Council and the National Library Board. She currently lives in Penang, Malaysia.
