Jared Yates Sexton is a writer and journalist whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The New Republic, Politico, Salon, and elsewhere. He’s the author of three collections of short fiction and his book The People Are Going To Rise Like The Waters Upon Your Shore: A Story of American Rage will be released by Counterpoint Press in August 2017. Currently he serves as an Associate Professor of Creative Writing at Georgia Southern University.
