Kristin Gourlay is a Chicago-based writer and journalist. Her work has appeared on NPR and several NPR member stations, in McSweeney’s and The Rumpus, and she is currently seeking representation for her completed memoir, The Geographic. Gourlay earned an MS in journalism from Columbia University. She also specializes in vocal music from the Balkans and Georgia.
