Rufi Thorpe is the author of the novels The Girls from Corona Del Mar, Dear Fang, With Love and most recently The Knockout Queen, a finalist for the PEN / Faulkner award. She has written for The New York Times, MORE magazine, The Huffington Post, as well as a humor column for McSweeney’s. She lives in California with her family and insane dog.
